FINALLY some pictures!!!
Posting pictures has been quite difficult to do since being on Korcula. the internet cafe is SLOW. So, I have something to show you all, finally! Here it goes:
Heres me in front of the Korcula sign today!!
Heres me at the beach at Korcula just a bit from our apartment, and Im holding a little hermit crab! Theyre all over these here parts.
This is the sunset on our island... Shame, isnt it? So ugly. ;) this was taken from the restaurant by our place.
Here is a wedding taking place in Split in Diocletians palace.
The Mostar Bridge, Bosnia.
Graffiti in Mostar. Notice the bullet hole in the middle of her chest, incorporated in the artwork.
Justin pointed this out to me--Bullet holes in a metal fence, and behind it is a building completely blown out, and being taken over by nature.

a whole lotta pictures goin on
Hi Everyone! I have some backpeddling to do to show you Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Aphrodesias, Antalya... SO MANY PICTURES! So get ready. If you haven't read most of the posts, a lot of these pictures won't make much sense. So, I'd suggest you read stuff before you look at the pretty pictures that help animate the words.
Here is me and David swimming in the ice cold pool in Pamukkale. Well, not swimming so much as aclimating. :)
Here's me with the white cliffs of Pamukkale in the background. They used have pools that were full of blue blue water, and these hills used to be desperately white, but now that the waters have been drained, it's gotten a bit dirty looking.
This is an old stone house built out onto the hillside on Pamukkale overlooking the valley.
Here's an old road in Hierapolis.
Me up against the white cliffs in Pamukkale, coming down from Hierapolis. If you have forgotten/didn't read the post (shame on you if you didn't), you have to take your shoes off to walk down the calcium hills. Ouch, to say the least.
APHRODESIAS! I absolutely loved this place. In this picture, the stage of the amphitheater is just to the right of this photo, and this is looking out into the baths.
More of Aphrodesias. This is the council house.
ME! In the bath area of Aphrodesias.
Here's Justin! We're back up on Hierapolis for the Boyner concert! He's standing on the arch in a Byzantine wall.
The amphitheater at Hierapolis! I like this shot because it shows a little of what it looked like what it was used back in the good ol days. I have other good shots of Boyner himself, but you'll have to see those when I get back. :)
Here's Justin and David with our wonderful hosts at Pamukkale.
Now I LOVE this picture because this is us after getting those "free" pizzas from the guy at the harbour in Antalya. Note the shit-eating grins on our faces. This is before we were charged for the cold wee pizzas.
Just a view from the Antalya harbor into the Med.
And last but not least, here's the human face carved into the pillar at Karain caves where we had to take a taxi and walk a very steep hillside to get to! Pretty eerie, huh?

Welcome to Eminonu!
This is a blog dedicated to photos that I uploaded but that didn't make the cut onto http://windspinner.blogspot.com Some of them may have been previously posted, I don't know. I'll know more as I post more recent pictures. Anyway, they're in no particular order, but I think some people like looking at pictures more than reading a huge blog, so enjoy!
Pictures
Here is a bombed out building in Belgrade... Creepy thing is that America bombed it... Uugh.
Here is Arrested Development with Serbian Cyrillic subtitles! It was glorious.
Little kid on the way to Serbia who just loved looking at us and playing peek-a-boo.
Here's one Justin took of me on some train going somewhere... I think into Serbia. My lens reflected into the picture... Dad says it's an art shot, I like it.
Sleeping Justin!! Cutie!
David and Justin in the Budapest train station.
David being ever delighted by the Hungarian spelling of "sandwitches"... SZENDVICS!
